Fatiha & Myles

Cincinnati, OH

The Vision

Myles and Fatiha envisioned a celebration that felt elegant, welcoming, and intentional. Inspired by a garden luxury aesthetic, they wanted to create an elevated experience centered around family, community, and meaningful details rather than traditional wedding formalities.

The design featured natural textures, soft florals, rich green accents, and custom details that reflected the couple's personalities while creating a cohesive guest experience from arrival to departure.

The Challenge

Planning a wedding for 100 guests in seven months requires balancing dozens of moving parts, but this event included several unique considerations.

The ceremony and cocktail hour were held outdoors in June, with rain in the forecast, requiring thoughtful guest comfort planning and weather contingency preparation. The couple opted for a curated mocktail menu rather than a traditional bar, which required creative guest experience planning to keep the atmosphere lively and celebratory.

As with many weddings, the guest list continued to evolve in the weeks and days leading up to the event. Last-minute additions required updates to seating assignments and place cards, and because all event details—including signage, seating charts, and printed materials—were managed in-house, adjustments could be made quickly without disrupting the overall guest experience or design aesthetic.

Wedding day timelines also required flexibility. During the reception, an unexpected scheduling conflict arose when a key family member needed to leave earlier than planned. By quickly adjusting the order of events and coordinating with the DJ and family members behind the scenes, an important sibling dance was able to take place without creating stress for the couple or drawing attention from guests.

The Solution

A comprehensive planning strategy was developed to ensure every aspect of the event worked together seamlessly.

Custom planning tools were created to manage timelines, guest communication, seating assignments, vendor logistics, and event flow. Guest experience remained the priority throughout the planning process, influencing decisions related to ceremony timing, reception layout, food service, and custom signage.

A detailed wedding day timeline was created for vendors, the wedding party, and family members to ensure smooth transitions throughout the day. Final vendor communication and coordination allowed the couple to remain focused on celebrating rather than managing logistics.

“This has been such a worthwhile investment in myself. I’d recommend it to anyone.”

Wedding Day Execution

The wedding day began with vendor arrivals, décor setup, and final walkthroughs to ensure every detail was in place before guests arrived.

Throughout the day, vendor logistics, timeline management, family coordination, and guest-facing issues were handled behind the scenes to keep the event running smoothly. From ceremony processional management to reception transitions, each portion of the event was carefully coordinated to maintain momentum and minimize stress for the couple.

When unexpected changes arose—including last-minute guest adjustments and a timeline modification during the reception—solutions were implemented discreetly and efficiently. Through proactive communication and real-time problem solving, the event remained on schedule while preserving the experience the couple had envisioned.

The result was a celebration that felt seamless to guests, even when adjustments were being made behind the scenes.

Reflection

This wedding reinforced the value of thoughtful planning and intentional design.

Every successful event is built on hundreds of small decisions made long before guests arrive, and this celebration was a reminder that the most impactful details are often the ones guests never realize are happening behind the scenes.

Creating systems, solving problems proactively, and designing meaningful experiences allowed the couple to fully enjoy their day—a goal that remains at the center of every event I plan
